MetaDrop

Drop photos or a whole folder on MetaDrop and it saves everything hidden inside them as one tidy file, right beside the originals. Camera, lens, exposure, date, title, caption, keywords, rating, copyright, credit, location and GPS. Everything runs on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded. No account, no subscription. What you get • JSON, CSV or both. JSON is grouped and tidy, and works well pasted into an AI chat. CSV opens straight in Numbers or Excel. • Short or Everything. Short gives you the useful fields only. Everything adds every raw tag in the file, including the full XMP. • Lightroom sidecar files. It reads the .xmp file Lightroom keeps beside raw photos, so your latest ratings, keywords and captions come through. • GPS on or off. One tickbox strips out latitude, longitude and altitude before you share a file. • A Copy button on every finished batch, which puts the JSON on your clipboard ready to paste. • Folders and subfolders in one go. Drop on the window or the Dock icon.
